In San Diego, a fighter jet returning to a Marine base crashed into two expensive homes and killed three people on Monday. One person in the home where three were found dead was still missing at last report.

The value of stock in Boeing Company has risen today, presumably because on Saturday, November 1st, 27,000 assembly workers voted to approve the company’s four-year contract offer. This move by workers ended an assembly-workers’ strike that stopped production at western Washington Boeing plants for nearly two months.

ANKARA, Turkey —
Despite the flagging worldwide economy, Turkish Airlines would like to buy 105 airplanes from Boeing and/or Airbus, depending upon the proposals it receives. The company desires delivery by the second half of year 2010. Turkish Airlines’ passenger numbers have increased by 150% within the past four years.
