ANKARA, Turkey —
Despite the flagging worldwide economy, Turkish Airlines would like to buy 105 airplanes from Boeing and/or Airbus, depending upon the proposals it receives. The company desires delivery by the second half of year 2010. Turkish Airlines’ passenger numbers have increased by 150% within the past four years.
